Coaching Philosophy

Sanjay takes a human-centric approach that creates the conditions for unleashing potential through robust challenge and debate balanced with support and empathy. His approach is centred on building trust, and his core values include honesty, respect, and self-expression. Sanjay is known for getting to the core of a challenge by asking provocative, challenging questions built on a foundation of sensitivity, inclusivity and belonging. He helps people see the patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving and helps empower people to move from insight to action and results.

Sanjay takes a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach to understanding behaviour and transformation. He draws on several models, theories, tools, and frameworks to help people understand themselves and others better. Sanjay’s life isn’t compartmentalised between work and life. As a queer Indian man, his lived experience shapes how he shows up to every coaching conversation. He’s committed to looking after his mind, body, and soul; he meditates, cycles, practices calisthenics and actively seeks out opportunities to have a greater social impact.
